Turning 1 year old is one of my favorite ages to capture!!! Even though they’re all over the place it seems, they’re learning and discovering new things everyday. Discovering the taste of cake is probably the best part of this age! I have been luck enough to photograph Emmett for his newborn, 6 months and now 1 year!! It’s been a joy watching this handsome little guy grow up in front of my camera!!
His 1st birthday was Space and Planets theme, so we had a great time setting up this cake smash for him! Emmett’s mom found this adorable rocket and space bow tie so we planned the cake smash around that. Blues, yellows, and oranges were the pops of colors we chose with of course some stars and planets! Cakelicious AZ knocked it out of the park with her rocket smash cake! Even though Emmett decided the cake looked better smashed on the ground, it was perfect for our theme!! It took some convincing for Emmett to get into his cake, but he looked adorable doing it!!
