First Birthday Photo Session | Hungry Caterpillar Cake Smash

Hunter’s first birthday session in my studio turned out so cute. His birthday party is Hungry Caterpillar themed so mom wanted to incorporate that into his first birthday session. This was always one of my favorite books growing up so it was fun to relive it again. There were so many fun colors to use to really make his cake smash pop!

For those of you unfamiliar with my cake smash sessions, a cake smash is the perfect way to celebrate their first year milestone. Typically with a cake, the theme and colors of the background are all planned through the studio.

His mom had lots of fun decor to bring that she was using for his party, so it made a great way to get double use of all those items!
