My 30 year old Birthday Cake Smash!

As you can tell, being a Phoenix Cake Smash photographer I get to see my fair share of baby cake smashes!! When my 30th birthday was coming up, I had planned for a while to do my own cake smash!! I actually turned 30 in May so I am a little ashamed to be finally blogging this but hey, better late then never! When I had my adult cake smash planned out it wasn’t as of a big thing and trend as it is now. A few weeks before I turned 30, another photographers 30 year old cake smash session went viral. It was all over Facebook and the local news. Needless to say a new trend began! I got the help from my awesome friend and fellow photographer Mary Kriss with Mary Kriss Photography to shoot my cake smash for me! We had such a great time at her studio in Surprise and I couldn’t be happier with how they all turned out!! I think we laughed more then anything else!

I loved my 30 gold crown from Love Crush Bowtique  and my beautiful poka dot and pink 30 cake from the always fabulous Cakelicious AZ! I also had the help from the talented Yolanda Lake for my makeup for the shoot! Turning 30 doesn’t have to be depressing! I wanted to make it fun, playful and of course cute!  Thanks again Mary for making this so special and fun for me!!!
