Boy cake smashes can be challenging. With girls, its a little easier to think of fun and whimsical themes for a birthday. For boys you need to be a little more creative, or you just need to keep it simple and know what you already love. For this family, it wasn’t hard to come up for a theme for Luke’s cake smash. Their family are die hard Cubs fans so planning a baseball theme was right up their alley. I wanted to add more a vintage touch to the session and loved incorporating all things baseball. Baseballs of course, Coca Cola, Cracker Jacks, you name it! Luke was full of personality and so fun with the cake! He definetly made it a entertaining shoot as you can tell from this gallery!
