Scottsdale Baby Photography | 1 Week Old Baby Lexi

Baby photography sure has come a long way since I started 5 years ago. When I graduated college I only really knew about wedding photographers as newborn portraits were something that was done in your local baby store. I have learned so much in these past 5 years that working with these sweet babies has become more of a art then photography. Baby Lexi was such a little doll for her newborn session with me in my Phoenix studio. If you remember her parents maternity session a few months ago, we photographed Alison a very soft pink maternity gown. I wanted to keep with that same soft color scheme for sweet Lexi. She was just the perfect little baby and barely made a peep during her session.

I usually photography babies between 6-14 days old so insure they are nice and sleepy for their photo shoot with me. During that window they still have their nights and days mixed up and can be curled in different positions. Lexi was so easy to work with, we pretty much let me work with her in any way.
